Get reviews using shortcuts

Leadferno gives every profile a built-in review request shortcut — a ready-to-send message asking a customer to leave a review, available right from the message composer on web and mobile.

What it is

  • A Leadferno-provided shortcut named review. It behaves like your own shortcuts, with two differences: you can't rename or delete it, but you can fully edit its message.

  • Each location has its own copy, so you can point each one at the right review link and wording.

By default it reads:

Hi {{first_name}}, thanks for choosing {{profile_name}}. Your feedback helps us improve. Could you leave us a quick review here?

For most profiles, Leadferno also adds your Google "write a review" link to the end of the message.

Sending a review request

  1. Open a conversation.

  2. Tap the star button in the message toolbar (labeled REVIEW in the mobile app). You can also type /review in the message box, or pick it from the shortcuts menu.

  3. The review message drops into the message box with the contact's name already filled in. Edit it if you like, then send.

Editing the message

  1. Go to Settings > Shortcuts.

  2. Under Leadferno shortcuts, open the review shortcut and edit the message, then save.

  3. Repeat for any other location that needs different wording or a different link.

The message has a 500-character limit.

Adding your review link

  • For many locations, Leadferno already includes a Google review link in the message.

  • If yours doesn't have one, paste your review URL into the message. This can be your Google review link or a link to whichever review site you want customers to use.
