Shortcuts make it easy to create pre-written messages to be used in conversations with your customers. Shortcuts come in two flavors: personal and team. Personal shortcuts are created by the individual signed in and apply to all profiles. Team shortcuts can be created by owners or administrators and are shared across a single profile.

Use shortcuts in a conversation

  1. Sign in to your Inbox.
  2. Open a lead. The conversation loads with a message composer.
  3. Open and search shortcuts (2 ways):
    • As your first character, type / in the messaging composer.
    • Select the lightening bolt icon.
  4. The search box opens along with a list of some of your shortcuts. Type to filter either the keyword or content of the shortcut. The list will show matching shortcuts.
  5. Select the shortcut by using arrow keys or with your cursor and choose Enter. The selected shortcut will be highlighted and added to the message composer.

Once shortcuts are added the to the message, they may be edited prior to sending. Note that the / keystroke only works when the message composer is blank, i.e., it doesn't have other text.
